I have had a life-long interest in art and photography. However, my formal training is in the biological sciences. For nearly all of my professional life I was a teacher and researcher at the University of Colorado Medical School. My main teaching responsibility was embryology and my research was concerned primarily with development of synapses in the brain.
Since my retirement, I have devoted much of my time to digital photography and travel.
